Virgil Marsolf, 1942-2014
Virgil W. Marsolf, 72, retired restaurant and landscape owner, passed away Saturday, November 8, 
2014. Virgil was born August 5, 1942, in Wichita. He graduated from East High School and joined the US Navy in the Construction Battalion (Sea-Bees).
Preceded in death by parents, Charles and Fern (Yates) Marsolf; sister, Nancy; brothers, Jerry and Merle; and a baby son. Survivors: wife of 50 years, Sylvia (Springfield); son, Jeff (Donna); daughter, Kelli (Chris) Hull, grandsons, Cameron Marsolf and Nicholas Guerra; brother, Ted (Phyllis) and Gail; sister, Vivian (Roger) Batt; many nephews, nieces and great-nephews and nieces.
Memorial service 9:30 AM Friday, Hillside Funeral Home, 2929 13th St. Memorial established with Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice.
