Will Grundeman, 1942-1999
Wilmer “Gene” Grundeman, age 56, of Wichita, Kansas, died October 23, 1999. He was employed as an engineer for Raytheon Aircraft in Wichita and had worked in the aircraft industry for over thirty years.
Gene was born November 24, 1942, at Holton, KS to Wilmer W. and Ella (Bissell) Grundeman. On November 11, 1967, he was married to Judy Kay Williamson at Wichita, KS.
Services were held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 28, 1999, at the Downing-Lahey Mortuary Chapel in Wichita with graveside services at 3:30 p.m. at Netawaka, KS cemetery.
Survivors include his wife Judy; two sons, Brian and Darin, of the home; his father Wilmer Grundeman, Wichita KS; one sister Janet Neitzel, Cheney, KS; one nephew and one niece. Gene was the son-in-law of Mrs. Dick (Virginia) Williamson of Sedan, KS.
A memorial has been established with the American Heart Association.
