Andy Lambert, 1942-2016
Andrew Alfred Lambert, retired HVAC tech and exceptional mechanic, died unexpectedly on April 18, 2016. He was born in Wichita on September 24, 1942, to the late Ernest C. and Nellie A. Lambert.
Andy is survived by his wife, Annie Lambert; two sisters, Sally (David) Dewey and Bonnie (Wayne) Walker, three children, Lori (Brent) Schock, Robby (Phil) Murray and Ray Lambert; one stepdaughter, Kelly Simpson; seven grandchildren; six nieces and nephews; and multiple beloved greyhounds.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 11, 2017, at DeVorss-Flanagan-Hunt Mortuary, 201 S. Hydraulic.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Halfway Home Greyhound Adoption, 7461 W. 73rd Street, Tulsa, OK 74131.
