Gary West, 1942-1996
Gary Wilmert West died Saturday, April 27, 1996. Born in Hutchinson in February 1942, he was the son of Irvil and Myrtle West. He was educated in Wichita and attended East High School.
Mr. West served three years in the U.S. Navy and then went to work at Boeing. At the time of his death, he was a quality engineer at Evcon Industries in Wichita.
He is survived by his wife, Candy; sons, Greg of El Dorado and Jason of Wichita; stepsons, Todd Zollinger of Ft. Leonard Wood, MO and Michael Zollinger of the home; stepdaughters, Tiffany Zollinger and Yvette Zollinger, both of Wichita, and Courtney Zollinger of the home; brother Dwayne of Wichita; and three grandchildren
A memorial has been established with the American Cancer Society.
