Lynn Nelson, 1942-2007
Allen Lynn Nelson was born November 25, 1942, to Russell G. and Helen Nelson in Enid, OK. He graduated from Wichita High School East in 1960 and from Wichita State University. He served as a sergeant in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. He retired from York Heating and Air Conditioning.
He passed away at the age of 64 on January 11, 2007, at Wesley Rehabilitation Center, Wichita. His parents preceded him in death. Allen is survived by his sister Norma D. Nelson.
Graveside services will be held at 2 PM Thursday, Pond Creek Cemetery, with Rev. Ronnie Hopkins officiating under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home, Pond Creek, OK.
Memorials may be made to the Leukemia Society of America, Kansas Chapter.
