Lois Beadles Smith was born in Atchison, Kansas on October 26, 1942, to Viola R. and Kenneth L. Beadles. She died June 14, 2002.

She had a sister Sandra Kay Beadles. Lois had a son, Jeffery Dion Smith, who predeceased her.
Lois is buried at White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Wichita, Kansas.
