Robert Dodson, Jr., 1942 – 2018
Robert Dodson Jr., 75, was born November 4, 1942, and passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2018. He was the son of Robert, Sr. and Helen Dodson.
A 1960 graduate of East High School, Robert was a retired Aerodynamicist for Boeing Wichita, specializing in military aircraft,
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Robert, Sr. and Helen Dodson; and sister, Jean Fourman. Survivors include his wife, Nancy Dodson; daughters, Jane Schaible (Daniel) and Anna Patrick (Craig); sisters, Joan Wencel (Milford) and Judy Blystone (Paul); brother, Kent Dodson (Silvina); grandchildren, Madeline, Henry, Peter, and Ender.
Funeral Service is 1:30 PM, Monday, August 20, at First Evangelical Free Church, 1825 N. Woodlawn, with viewing one hour prior to services.
Memorials may be sent to WSU Engineering Department in care of The Wichita State University Foundation.
His wife Nancy remembers Bob as follows: “Bob loved the Lord and was a great husband and father . He was very proud of being an East High grad and had good memories of his friends, especially his time in track and swimming. We miss him very much.”
