Donna, I loved reading your back yard story! I have never lived with more than a few of these creatures, but envy your closeness to nature. The videos are an entertaining addition. I also appreciate the notes on each creature. I hope you give us a winter update! Thank you for taking time to photograph and video this!
I just noticed your note today, Glenna, and I appreciate your comments. Marilyn and I learned a lot while trying to figure out how to add the videos within the presentation.
Your recent narrative brings back my memory of those strong Kansas winds and tornado alerts. We don’t have much wind out here, but we do have more than our share of raindrops. Thanks for your many writings!
Donna, I love reading this again and seeing the additional videos. My son in Rhode Island has a large property that backs up to a wooded area. When we go to visit, we sit on his 2nd floor giant deck and look at all kinds of creatures making daily rounds. It is peaceful and refreshing to pay attention to nature. Late at night I notice the exterior house lights that turn off and on, signaling wild life or teenagers coming home late at night.

Donna, This is a fabulous collection from someone who is clearly attuned to nature in a great location. Thanks for sharing. David Kroenlein
