Jim DeShazo, 1942-2025
Jim’s daughter Kristi let us know that her father Jim DeShazo had passed away.
Jim DeShazo passed away on July 3, 2025, at the age of 83. Born to Orville and Nora Smith DeShazo, Jim lived in Wichita and Colwich his entire life. He graduated from East High School.
Jim worked as a cross country trucker early in his career and then as a machinist in the aviation industry.
He was married to his wife Karen Silor for 52 years. She passed in 2023. Jim is survived by five children, nine grandchildren and one great grand child.
