Industrial animated clock of cyclist on Penny-Farthing bicycle with barometer and thermometer. The automation movement drives both wheels of the bicycle. 15" tall. French, c. 1900
Inspired by the Wright Brother plane, it incorporates a barometer and thermometer. It has a separate movement in the globe that animates the propellers. The ailerons and rudder are movable by two levers. 18" tall. French. c. 1909

Animated paddle wheel steamer industrial clock with barometer and thermometer. Beam and paddle wheel animate by a separate mechanism. 16" tall to top of smoke stack. French, c.1885.
Animated Ironclad Battleship Industrial Clock. The hull holds key wound clockworks that cause the turret to revolve, the propeller to spin and the rudder to move. The turret holds an aneroid barometer and clock. The termometers are on the twin funnels. kThe case and waves are patinated bronze with gilt trim on green onyx base. 23" wide. 14 1/2" tall.
