Bruce and Ruth Ann Ellis at a Giants Game
Baseball games, starting with Spring Training and throughout the season, have provided an excuse for numerous mini-reunions over the years. Bruce and Ruth Ann Ellis spent a week in the San Francisco Bay Area with Skip and Mary Ann Granger in May 2012. According to Skip, Bruce was a “HUGE Giants fan.” A mini-reunion had to include a Giants game!
First, the Ellis’s and the Grangers spent a fun day in wine country on a great day for a picnic.
Bruce and Ruth Ann ate with the Grangers in the club at AT&T (now Oracle) Stadium and visited the Giants’ memorablia at the stadium. Bruce’s brother and sister-in-law arrived on the Golden Gate Ferry to join them in watching the San Francisco Giants play ball.

This is fun to read, knowing that these people were good friends. I like that all our memories are not just obits. Many classmates have enjoyed each other long after graduation!
