Ann Knorr Addison, 1942-2016
In the condolence notes left for Ann’s family, one phrase is repeated more than any other: “She was a great lady.” As a Customer Service Associate at a Walgreen’s store for 15 years, she developed personal relationships with hundreds of customers. She was most noted for her warmth, helpfulness, and kind interest in every family.
Ann Knorr Addison, 73, after a brief illness, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on 4/26/2016 in Colorado. She was born 9/19/1942 in Wichita, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her parents James H. Knorr and Virginia T. Knorr. Ann is survived by her twin brother Eric (Darlene), sister Margaret (Honka ), and brother Jamie (Nancy) Knorr; her four loving children J.C. (Nicola), Steve (Jodi), Scott, and Jennifer Addison. Ann adored her grandchildren Vonte, Davin, Kaley, Omani, Theo, Nick, Shay, and Savon. Ann was also especially proud of her service to her Walgreens’ friends and family over the last 15 years. A gathering to celebrate Ann’s life will take place later this summer. For those who knew Ann well, she was also fond of one armed bandits in Central City and Black Hawk.
