Jim Griffin, 1942-2004
After attending Southeast High for his first two years, Jim Griffin and his family moved to the East High district. He sprinted right onto East High’s track team, a contender for the 1960 state championship.

James Manson Griffin, Jr. 62, died February 19, 2004. Service at 1 P.M. Thursday, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Ardmore, OK.
Survivors include his mother Doris, Ardmore; children, Lamont, Santa Clara CA, LaTasha Griffin, Mission Veijo CA; sister, Linda Dayton, Ardmore; brother, Royce, Plano TX. Kirk Funeral Home is in charge of the service.
