Susie Wasson Sidman, 1942-2005

Broken Arrow, OK – Carolyn “Sue” Sidman, 62, of Broken Arrow, died January 4, 2005, at her home. She was born August 9, 1942, in Tulsa, OK, to Arthur and Minnie Beatrice Wasson.
She was a graduate of Wichita East High School, Wichita, KS. She was married to Maynard “Sid” D. Sidman on December 24, 1959. In 1976, she moved to Broken Arrow from Springdale. She worked for the Broken Arrow Ledger from 1978-1985. She was a homemaker and retired from PSO/AEP after 17 years. A member of the First Church of the Nazarene, Susie’s interests included crafts, reading, and music.
Survivors include her husband Sid of Broken Arrow; daughters, Debbie (Jeff) Ash, Br0ken Arrow and Donna (Mark) Collins of Farmington; seven grandchildren; and a brother, Denny Wasson of Tulsa.
Services will be at 11 AM today at the First Church of the Nazarene in Broken Arrow with Larry Morris officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Haven Memorial Garden. Arrangements are by Hayhurst Funeral Home, Broken Arrow.
