Dale Dumas, 1942-2008
Dale’s daughter Dominique provided this information about her father and supplied the photos.
Dale left Wichita in the 1960’s to move to California. He began his career in law enforcement as a Traffic Control officer. Later, he became a police officer for the LAPD’s operations at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), where he worked for over 20 years. (Right, Dale in 1960)

In 2000 Dale bought a house in Upland, CA and retired a year later. In January, 2008, he was diagnosed with cancer and passed away peacefully at home on New Years Eve, 2008.
