Wesley Welborn 1938-2011
Wesley E. Welborn, 73, of Cleveland, Tennessee, died Tuesday, June 14, 2011 in a local health care facility. He was the son of Earnest Welborn and Goldie Carter.
He was a member of The Old Pathway Missionary Baptist Church and was retired from the Wright Brothers Construction Company after 20 years of service. He was a veteran of the United States Navy.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Ann Welborn; his father, Earnest Welborn; and his sister, Raelinda Welborn.
Survivors include his mother, Goldie Carter of Wichita, Kansas; two children, Brenda A. Otto and husband Anthony of Otis, Kansas; and Cindy Welborn of Ft. Worth, Texas; one step-son, John Newberry of Cleveland; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
