Editor’s Note: Jane sent us this travel story in January 2021.
In our van, we are touring parts of the U.S. warmer than our home in Park Ridge, Illinois.
During December, we were in Charlotte, Oriental and Sunset Beach, NC.
Currently, we are at James 
Island County Park next to Charleston, South Carolina, and also visiting Myrtle Beach State Park.
Doing some “cold” rainy weather camping this week. We are thankful for our furnace, internet, Kindle, and movies and sports on TV.
We have done a bit of biking and walking in spite of the chilly weather.

Today we received our first COVID vaccine. Appointment for second vaccination is February 9th. Happy!

Jane, it is so nice to travel with you! I am impressed that you have a string of friends to visit that gives you (and your readers) a variety of people and places to visit. However, if this heat gets much worse, I can see the weather map dictating the route…perhaps the Arctic Circle or the thawing tundra!
