The “Lunch Bunch” invites you to join them in Wichita on the second Thursday of the month.
The Wichita East High School graduation class of 1960 had close to 750 students, so most of us knew only a small percentage of the class. That is one of the best reasons to join us for the monthly lunch since some old friends and acquaintances might be there plus some new ones. We are all the same age, all have interesting life stories, all have some things in common and all need some fun and enjoyment away from the “norm.”

Left to right: Jim Banks, Sam Lindeman, Barbara Shacklett Adam’s, Johnny Stevens, Glenna Payne Hartman, Gerald “Jake” Jacobs, Pearline Blackman Smith, David Robinson, Mary “Mert” Lancaster Davis, Clara Therman Hess, Pattie (Merle) Lewis and Marty Dunlap Bogle. (Early 2026)
We normally have between 10 and 12 Aces for lunch each month. (Two classmates drive over 100 miles to join us.) All seem to really enjoy the experience.

Mary Lancaster “Mert” Curtis: “The East High Lunch Bunch is a fun way to connect with friends that we remember and friends we didn’t know in school. We had so many in our
class it’s been fun connecting with these new old friends.”
Anna Payne Gustafson: “I just wanted to let everyone know that if you want a fun lunch, please join us for the graduates of 1960 East High luncheon!! You won’t regret it!!”

Some of the other participating classmates:

We all hope you will join us – The more the merrier!
