Rick Townley, 1941-2010

Richard Lee Townley was born on May 11, 1941, and died September 30, 2010. He was a resident of Pittsburgh, CA. Born in Lawton, OK, he attended Wichita East High School but graduated from Richmond High School in 1960.
He worked at C&H Sugar Company from 1961 to 1997, when he retired as Head Dock Rigger.
He is survived by Thais, his wife of 46+ years; brother Ray (Shirley); sister Sharon and brother-in-law Wayne Fuhrer; seven nieces and nephews; and nine great nieces and nephews.
Rick was an Oakland A’s and Raiders fan and an avid golfer. He and Thais traveled extensively, golfing in Australia, Canada, Europe, and throughout the United States. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
