Ray Putnam, 1942-2000
Ray A. Putnam, 57, Graham Construction Co. Inc. president and Jesse L. Graham Real Estate Co. owner and property and investments owner, died Friday, Feb. 25, 2000. Service 2 p.m. Tuesday, Central Christian Church.
Mr. Putnam was born Nov. 9, 1942, at Devil’s Lake, N.D., and was a former resident of Pelican Rapids, Minn. He graduated from Wichita East High School in 1960 and from W.S.U. with a BS in Business in 1965. Mr. Putnam was a member of the local golf community and loved playing golf at various courses. He loved taking his grandchildren golfing and fishing nightly at Crestview Country Club.
Survivors: wife, Janyce; son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Vicky, daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Eric Kivett, all of Wichita; mother, Joan Putnam of Houston; brothers, Robert, Jon, both of Houston, Joel of San Jose, Calif.; sister, Colleen Bay of Houston; grandchildren, Lance, Tiffany, Rebekah and a little boy due in April. Memorial has been established with Wichita Junior Golf Foundation.
