Betty Ann Huyett Carr, 1942-2018
Betty Ann Huyett Carr, 76, of Raymore, MO passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2018, with her family by her side. Betty was born on July 29, 1942, in Wichita, KS, the daughter of Floyd and Opal Huyett. She met and married her husband of 44 years, Dr. Terrance B. Carr, on August 27, 1960.
Betty worked for Don Kahan Motors in Lee’s Summit, MO for many years. She also worked alongside her husband in his chiropractic practice and other small business ventures throughout the years. Betty was a dedicated wife, mother and employee who always put the needs of others before her own.
Surviving members of the family include sister Norma Durnil-Mayfield (Art), Derby, KS; daughter Terianne Paul (Michael), Lee’s Summit, MO; son Dale Carr (Theresa), Jackson, MN; daughter Brenda Dutton, (Tony), Olathe, KS; son Douglas Carr of Blue Springs, MO; and son Darin Carr (Lisa), Pleasant Hill, MO. Her grandchildren are Gail Bennett, Brandon Paul, Brad Paul, Nikki Goyne, Amanda Carr, Dylan Dutton, Michael Carr, Nicholas Carr, Reagan Carr, Roman Carr and eleven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Terrance B. Carr, father Floyd Huyett, mother Opal Huyett and brother-in-law William Durnil.
