Barbara Pumpelly Chrissie, 1942-2003
Obituary
Barbie was born in Corsicana, Texas, on September 2, 1942, to Irvin and Elizabeth Winford Pumpelly. 
She passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2003, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City. She attended schools in Wichita, Kansas, and was active in drama at Wichita High School East from which she graduated in 1960. She attended Wichita State University and was a member of the Delta Delta Delta sorority there. Survivors include her husband Michael Chrissie; son, Michael Jr.; a brother, John Pumpelly; and a sister, Sonja Summers; as well as many friends and classmates who remember her fondly. She is buried in Pacific View Memorial Gardens in Corona Del Mar, Orange County, California.
Barbie Pumpelly, at the right, was part of the cast of the musical “The Boy Friend” along Kay Ellen Consolver, Art Casado, and Janice Peavey.
