Gerald Black, 1942-2016
Gerald and his sister Geraldine were one of two sets of twins in their family. Geraldine Black Kinnard, also a member of the Class of 1960, died in 1980. Jerry served in the U.S. Marine Corps.

Gerald Eugene Black, 73, KCMO, stepped into eternity with Christ on October 1, 2016. “The Daddy” was born December 2, 1942, in Wichita, Kansas to Charles and Hazel Black. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Wynona Black; three sons Gerald Black III, Bradley Black (Toya), and Kemuel Bellows; daughter Wynona Black; mother Hazel Black; and four siblings, Charles Black, Charlene Avery, Dale Black, and Tony Black; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 8, 5:00 p.m. at Duane E. Harvey Directors. Interment at Leavenworth Memorial Cemetery.
